Comedy is one of the best ways to get people thinking about touchy subjects because it uses irony, hyperbole and cleverness to disarm knee-jerk defensive reactions when talking about things like racism.
Guys like Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle don't hate white people. They hate white supremacy. They hate the system that keeps it invisible.

I think saying there a system that keeps it invisible is ridiculous. If it’s used as a medium for touchy subjects then that ability should be there for all comics regardless of sex, race, size, orientation or beliefs but it’s not, it’s really not.
