To be fair, I said RW/Winger as I do agree RW availability and even NHL wide is the hardest position to fill. However players who could slot in on the RW either regular lines or on the PP there are a few.
Again, we truly don't know what's available, there's always players out there that can be had for the right price that the "insiders" aren't gushing over on any given day. With that being said I'm going to put a few wingers I feel the flames could target that they MAY have a chance at given the right package:
M.Hoffman - 16g/23a/39p - LW/great on the PP/could potentially slot RW
M.Stone - 16g/29a/47p - RW/rumored unavail/nobody knew Dougie was available so I wont rule it out but longshot. Treliving has been known to be a wizard
C.Fisher - 13g/14a/27p - RW/Arizona may look for D w/ Ekman Larsson not happy in Arizona.
J.Anderson - 17g/11a/28p - RW/Columbus could lose JJ as he is UFA and may look for a top 4 D.
G.Nyquist - 15g/10a/25p - RW/Rumors he could be available for the right price
B.Gallagher - 21g/12a/33p - RW/Rumors his name is out there for the right price
M.Grabner - 23g/6a/29p - LW/To be fair I wouldn't trade Brodie straight up for Grabner but rumors are he is available
W.Simmonds - 19g/16a/35p - RW/Always rumblings, no indication he's even available however
M.Marner - 13g/32a/45p - Earlier in the season I feel there may have been a chance, would take significantly more than Brodie if they'd move him at all now that he's come into his own this season
T.Vanek - 16g/23a/39p - RW/More of a rental so I wouldn't give Brodie straight up, but he's putting up pretty solid numbers even though people on CP don't necessarily like the guy. Not a long term solution
