Brodie's ATOI this year is 24mins while Kulak is in the 12min range. Kulak has been looking OK playing against other teams 3rd and 4th lines. It is out of the question to have him play 24mins+ per night against top6 competition.
We quite frankly don't have anyone in the organization who can fill that hole if Brodie were to be traded today. Would take a minimum of 2years for our prospects to step into that kind of role, and that's if they live up to their potential.
Brodie is one of those players where if he were traded, only then would we realize how valuable he is.
