Why not bring up Wotherspoon for some depth? We have some good players on the farm. Seems wasteful to trade away picks for depth. I get you dont want Anderson eating popcorn all the time but there's other benefits to being with the big club.

Looking externally for talent is the last resort. If we had those guys within our organization, they would be either playing or the first ones called up.
Obviously we have kind of already depleted our AHL depth. Kulak, Jankowski, Hathaway and Lomberg. So we've already kind of been doing what you are suggesting.
Also, Wotherspoon is not an NHL player. We drafted this guy 1 spot before Kucherov
