Why do we need to go external for depth?
Successful teams like the Predators, Penguins, Capitals, Bruins, and Tampa Bay always seem to have several players that I hadn't really heard of. They draft their depth rather than give up assets for it.
Why not bring up Wotherspoon for some depth? We have some good players on the farm. Seems wasteful to trade away picks for depth. I get you dont want Anderson eating popcorn all the time but there's other benefits to being with the big club.
