I'm in a beer & pizza league, so homeruns aren't that rare, but when you hit the odd one just right and launch it, it does feel good. But playing left field, it feels even better when I can track down one of those hits.


I can still picture some big plays in both hockey and baseball right from little leagues up. The move I put of the goalie, the pass I threaded, the shot in off the inside of the post, the screaming linedrive I snagged, or the perfect throw to catch the runner trying to steal second. They all give warm feelings (well, except the throw to 2nd. The throw bounced on top of the bag - the 2nd base and SS didn't know who was covering - that was 22 years ago (wow ))
