I thought it was the wings tonight ugh not looking forward to the kryptonite Flames.

No Smith, and his backup isn’t a rookie , thankfully, but…..
Hutton was A game, let’s not do that game over…. Puhleese?
Not sure that the heart needs two of them in a week…. lol

Put this in the game preview but… based on watching Calgary in Boston they will come out very fast and mix it up physically.
Have to get a couple and put them behind the 8 ball so they can’t play that way taking those chances.

Here's the thing about the Atlanta Calgary Flames. Seems like every time they come to town, they're looking to win the game. So I think it's important that the Preds go into tonight looking for a win. A glaring hole in Calgary's armour is that they allow goals. In fact, they've lost just about every single game in which they've allowed more goals than they've scored. So that could be our route to victory tonight.

I like the flames. But I also hope we squash all their hopes and dreams.

Find it funny reading the 10-20 minutes comment. The Flames are notorious for playing 1 maybe 1.5 periods of hockey. So that will be interesting.
Flames fans hold the Preds in fairly high regards... so there would be no whining. That was also the case last game vs Boston. Beat by the better team..
Our whining is because of inconsistent play throughout 60 minutes and our PP sucks.

Still making his absence felt

I’m gonna be there tonight!! We got these tickets a while ago because I wanted to see Jagr play before he retired :-/ I just want to see the boys come out firing on all cylinders tonight!! Let’s do this!!
|
Quote:
Are you me? Because that’s exactly why I bought tickets for this game, plus I’m on vacation this week, and I found some reseller tickets for $30 each.
Anyway, no Jagr, but hoping for a W tonight.

I wanted to see jagr play

Rinne closing the 5 hole.. Our horrible defensive coverage continues.

Double rainbow, it’s a double rainbow all the way

Double minor, need something here

Quote:

There’s absolutely zero movement towards the net on the power play. Everything is side to side. So ****ing stupid.

Wow. 1 shot in 4 min? Lavy gonna go headhunting in that room

Quote:

Gotta love the Preds power pass

Good heavens - two in the box. Not good.

Lazar turned, but Emelin needs to calm the f down with these kind of checks.
|
Quote:
|
Oh look a power play goal. Must be nice.

Quote:

15 seconds from killing it off.... dammit all to hell
|
Quote:

Ok let's just skate around and let them do what they want , that's a brilliant plan.

Special teams the whole story of the game so far
Pretty disappointing effort so far

I remember when both our PK and PP were top 5. Both have been quickly coming back to earth recently.

Well Pekka can't save your asses all night.

Good execution by Flames. Took what Nashville gave them.

Every time the Flames enter our zone it's full-on Keystone cops
|
Quote:
What the hell are they doing out there?
It looks like they just expect to turn it on and Calgary to lay down.
|
Quote:

I'm pretty mad. We're playing like hot garbage.
|
Lazar with a Shocker
Quote:
"That one looked like it eluded Rinne."
Yes, Mason. That is how goals happen.
|
Quote:
|
So Calgary still owns the Preds I see.
|
Quote:
Calgary is our kryptonite. We just never seem to play well against them for some reason. So I'm not surprised. The only thing surprising is the lack of energy/spunk from the team lately. Guess the grid of the long season is finally creeping up on the team. Going to need a spark to get this team going again to where they are dominating teams. Overall I would say their effort in this game though was better than the last one at least for the first two periods. This third period hasn't been great though but hopefully they can turn it around.

Rittich’s Redemption
Quote:
That looks like a goal.
Seemed to go inside his glove which was inside the goal.
But it was close as hell.
EDIT: after that one angle nope. It was soooo close.
|
Quote:
That was tantalizingly close.
We have got to actually play so we don't need to make a desperate comeback every night.
|
Quote:
|
So close. But not a goal. It went off the heel of his glove.

The Terror
Quote:

Cool cool cool Matthew Tkachuk on a 30 goal pace.

No extra development years, no sophomore slump. Damn
|
Quote:

Who would have thought that a 107 point 17 year old OHL Rookie who went 20-20 in 18 playoff games would be half decent.

Is, is he tough to play against?
