Default Day 7 (PM of Thursday Feb 15 - AM of Friday Feb 16)

Beginning at 17:30 the 3rd Run of the Men’s Skeleton will begin. Kevin Boyer, Dave Greszczyszyn, and Calgarian Barrett Martineau are sliding for Canada. I believe this is going to be shown on CBC.

The first run of the Women’s Slalom begins at 18:00. Canadians Erin Mielzynski, Laurence St-Germain, and Roni Remme are Canada’s skiers. Not sure which channel this will be on for us because it is supposed to be on Sportsnet but it looks like Sportsnet West will be showing the Flames game instead.

Also at 18:00 the Short Program in the Men’s Figure Skating is scheduled to begin, I think this will be on TSN 3. Keegan Messing will be the 12th skater and Patrick Chan will be the 21st skater.

The Qualification Runs of the Women’s Snowboard Cross will also be starting at 18:00. Zoe Bergermann, Meryeta O’Dine, Carle Brenneman, and Tess Critchlow are all making their Olympic debuts.

The Men’s Super G is scheduled to begin at 19:00. Dustin Cook, Manuel Osborne-Paradis, Broderick Thompson, and James Crawford are the Canadian participants.

The 4th and Final Run in the Men’s Skeleton is scheduled to begin at 19:15.

The US takes on Slovakia in the Men’s Hockey Tournament at 20:10. This game seems like it will be on TSN 1 and 4.

The Quarter-Finals of the Women’s Snowboard Cross are scheduled to begin at 20:15 and I believe this will be on CBC. The Semi-Finals are scheduled to start at 20:36, with the Final slated for 20:52.

The second run of the Women’s Slalom is scheduled to start at 21:15.

Rachel Homan’s rink looks to back bounce following their 0-2 day to begin the Women’s Curling Tournament at 22:05 in a match against Denmark. This seems like it will be on TSN 2.

The Men’s 15km Free Cross Country event begins at 23:00 and it looks like this will be on TSN 1, 3, and 5. Devon Kershaw, Greaeme Killick, Alex Harvey, and Knute Johnsgaard ski for Canada.

At 00:40 in Men’s Hockey Russia takes on Slovenia.

The Final for the Women’s Aerials is scheduled to be at 04:00.

Also at 04:00 the Final for the Women’s 5000m Long Track event will begin. Isabelle Weidemann finished in 6th in this distance at last year’s ISU World Singles Distance Championship and will make her Olympic debut in the 3rd pairing. Ivanie Blondin won a Bronze Medal at last year’s World Singles Distance Championship in this distance and is looking to improve on her 14th place finish in Sochi. Blondin will skate in the 4th pairing.

At 04:05 Kevin Koe’s rink looks to remain undefeated in the Men’s Curling Tournament taking on the host South Korean team. This should be on Sportsnet.

The 1st Run in the Women’s Skeleton should begin at 04:20 and should be on Sportsnet 1. A trio of Canadians are making their Olympic debuts. Mirela Rahneva, Jane Channell, and Elisabeth Vathje all live in Calgary now (Vathje is the only one raised here)! The 2nd Run is scheduled to begin at 05:30.

A pair of Men’s Hockey games take place at 05:10. Finland takes on Norway and Sweden faces Germany.

At 05:30 the Qualification Round of the Men’s Individual Large Hill Ski Jump is scheduled to begin. Calgarian Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes will be the 25th jumper.
