But he also said that they were not opposed to KM if it was transporting refined products, just not bitumen. So I guess tankers spilling diesel, gasoline, or crude are acceptable just not bitumen. He also stated that there were refineries in Atlantic Canada capable of taking bitumen and efforts should be focused on getting the product there. So I guess it is also acceptable tot he Greens to pipe it through Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick. Just not BC.

Notley needs to hop on this hard to galvanize the rest of Canada against BC. “BC doesn’t care about the environment, just unconstitutional NIMBYism. They’re fine with shipping it across thousands of extra kilometres and 4 or 5 provinces to load on the east coast instead of right next door off their coast.”
