Disagree. Yes, Lack isn't here because he was under-performing, but most importantly had a contract the team was willing to eat. If he had bigger numbers that prohibited him from being waived or demoted, make no mistake, Rittich would still be playing in the AHL.
Rittich should be playing more based on how lights out he has been. If the staff is finally cluing into the fact that they cannot ride an old starter as much as they have been, it is a good sign.
