Thanks for everyones help.

I actually transferd the "files" using Sonic.That came preloaded on my CPU.

I had to reduce the quality from Dvd to VCD to get all the information on the DVD disc.

I will try and play the DVD on my home dvd player, which I think is compatible with multi formats. I will follow up.

I was trying to convert a DIVX movie.
