We are so fortunate that Treliving got the Monahan/Gaudreau deals done two seasons ago. One year later and Johnny probably costs $9,000,000 because of the McDavid and Draisaitl deals.
The fact Monahan and Gaudreau are on "cheap" deals relative to their production gives us so much more flexibility now and will allow us to keep Backlund and pay Tkachuk market value.
