I've pretty much given up on the GTs, just wwaaaaaaayyyy too much whining for me. (Unless, of course, we score 5 every period, with at least 2 PP goals.)
The PGTs - especially if there has been a soft goal or the PP fails to perform - is almost unreadable, even after a win.
So, like others, I read and look for Gaskal (without him (?) the PGT after a win would be pointless - would hate to lose the ATLs!).
I browse rapidly through the PGT to feel the temperature. Sometimes there is less whining about whatever the current whipping-feature/person of choice might be. Mostly those ones are OK.
But woe betide us if "something" happens that the Negative Nancies want to jump on, win or lose.
At the gentle age of 60-something, I just don't care enough to read that crap. I love my team and have since they moved to Calgary; was a long-time STH now in BC though. I love the insightful commentary that comes - sometimes - from analyzing a broken play or a screwup, or why a given line is working well after a personnel change. The rest of it....no thanks.
