Boring day at work. Snowfall in Vancouver means everything shuts down. They can't handle it here.

Anyways, I was just thinking about where we get inspiration from, who we look to as our role models, who we admire? Or even people that simply amuse us. And i'm not talking about those we have personal relationships with (parents, etc).

If you could have a beer with any anyone (let's keep this to people currently living), who would it be? Why? Could be a writer, politician, actor, musician, athlete, whatever.

I could pick someone really intellectual, but being a musician and music fan, I have to say Noel Gallagher of Oasis. Not even neccessarily my favourite musician, but seems like a real guy, someone who made it from the working class life of Manchester, and who appreciates everything he has. He doesn't cater to trends, shoots from the hip, and seems like a cool guy to have a pint with and talk football.
