I think a more appropriate question is have some fans given up too easily. Kid is 21. He's still got time. For better or worse, Bennett's best value for the Flames is with the team. He's not going to fetch more than 2nd round, and if that's the case, you keep him and hope he develops.

I find a lot of people are just not that patient these days. Yes, he may be a bust eventually. Or he may be a late bloomer. I, for one, would rather wait it out, and if he busts he busts. But if he gets traded and breaks out, I'll be real choked.
