I just don't get the "bust" talk in regards to Bennett. Hell, he lead the team in points in December and looked like our best player.
He's also looked like our best even strength player in both playoffs he's been a part of, as an 18 and 20 year old. I really don't get how fickle an bipolar our fanbase can be. Patience is a virtue, especially when dealing with young players.

Why? Because for the fourth pick in a pretty good draft for most players picked in the top 10, he only has 18 points this season, and I'm pretty sure leads everyone PIMs by a fair margin at this point. He takes far too many stupid penalties. And despite the teammates he has had, if he is a player that amount to the potential people had on him, he would still find ways to make a impact and get on the scoring sheet in a beneficial manner.
I haven't given up on him completely, but he has been a disappointment after a great first year, and I'm skeptical he'll amount to be a top line, or even top 6 centre at this point. It's about results at this point. I'll believe, when I see it.
