It would’ve worked as a season finale, very true. There’s some speculation that it originally was as CBS ordered an additional two episodes late in the game.
Glad you’re enjoying it though, it’s definitely been divisive with the fan base. I really like it too. But then I don’t mind “Into Darkness” either and everyone seems to hate it with passion.
