That's such an awful argument, though -- why would we deal T.J. Brodie for a second and a fourth and then graduate a guy like Wotherspoon or Kylington to play top-4 instead of Kulak? I mean, Gulutzan isn't gonna play Rasmus with Hamonic.
T.J. Brodie is a proven top-3 defenseman who is more valuable than a surprising number of people seem to realize. The Flames would be very sorry to trade him.
