True, but the problem was the team then got rattled and gave up, with a ton of time left, on home ice.
The fragile mentality and passiveness has a lot to do with Glen Gulutzan and lack of motivating as well as (in-game) discipline.
Bad goalie nights happen, the way the team handles it is the more important thing. Coaching leads to habits and instincts, and currently their instinct in adversity is to fold. They're not being taught or inspired to react any other way. That's why Glen probably has to go before this team will find its way.
