Issue is there does appear to be a mental issue in that dressing room - hard to say if that’s a coach thing or a player thing but it’s there.
Tonight I agree he does bare some of the blame. Last game I don’t think he deserved the flak he got for not calling a timeout at 2-2 but tonight he clearly should have called one at 4-4 or 5-4. And Smith 100% needed to be pulled after the 5-4 goal.
What concerns me is when did this creep into the locker room. Up until December they were lights out with a lead after two, no regulation losses and 1 it loss.
Since then though two regulation losses, two OT losses, and many other blown leads in the third that they were able to regain the lead or barely hang on by 1.
Something mentally has clearly invaded that dressing room.
