Maybe I misinterpreted what you wrote.
I am just saying that it is entirely possible and likely to be excellent at your job and responsibilities but be connected to a company that just isn’t making money with what they tasked you with. That isn’t the fault or failing of the engineer or programmer. There could be a lot of people at Shaw in that situation. They simply don’t need them, even though they are good at their jobs.
