I'm also generally offended that Elton John's song doesn't go the way I choose to hear it:
"Hold me closer tiny dancer
Count the headlights on the highway
Lay me down in sheets of linen
You had a busy day today"
ought to be
Hold me closer Tony Danza ("large sized dancer" would also be acceptable to me)
Count the headlights on the highway
Lay me down in sheets of linen
You had a busy day today

Same with "Smoke on the water...the fire in the sky.."
I much prefer: "Slow walking Walter...the fire engine guy".
