As frustrating as that was, the Flames have had terrible luck for this last stretch. If the Flames have equal luck as the other teams for the last 5, they probably win at least 3. The PP has been poor, but has also been unlucky at some points. Frolik made a bad play, but those bad plays have seemingly gone against us at a rate that must involve some bad luck.
Luck will balance out. The Flames have shown plenty to show that they can compete (and more) with anyone.
More killer instinct would be good, but that doesn't always overcome bad luck.
