When I say "just" I mean that there's no children out there that he was directly responsible for abusing. Now I'm not defending him for having that crap on his computer because he obviously had mental issues (I don't think someone of sane mind takes a liking to this stuff) but I don't know if I would classify him as a monster if he never harmed anyone himself. More an individual that was mentally ill.
