We don't know for sure that the mirror Michael is dead.
My gut though, Jason Isaacs is the type of guy that won't come back without a really good reason. Lorca is dead all the way through, probably the mirror Lorca tossed him out an airlock, and evil Michael is dead.
There's a finality to the way they ended the story arc. The Imperial Flag ship is blown up. The Emperor thrown down. There's really no reason to go back.
Isaac's probably wasn't cheap to get either.
Like I said, never say never, but there just doesn't seem to be a reason to bring Lorca back if they're going to develop Michael.

I assumed the Lorca's switched places like with Mirror Kirk etc.
I also kind of thought it was before the destruction of the Buran and he lost the ship twice.
Thus another bunch of plot holes I have a big problem with:
Bad Lorca switches with Good Lorca then what - he learns that he has to love stale fortune cookies, had a stormy past relationship with an admiral and hide all of his racist tendencies to every single non human he meets?
And if he arrived after the destruction of the Buran he suddenly has to tell everyone he has light sensitivity due to something that happened months before?
