Insider trading:

Trade isn't option for Sedins who are in final year of contract (full NMC).
Canucks won't know Sedins' intentions for next season before trade deadline.
They will want to reflect during the offseason before making a decision.

Even though the assumption is that it is a foregone conclusion Canucks will trade pending UFA Gudbranson, Canucks first priority is to negotiate a multi-year extension.
If the Canucks can't re-sign him, then they will trade him and they are getting plenty of interest on Gudbranson

Lebrun: I suspect Canadiens will take calls on Pacioretty until the final minute of the trade deadline.
It is NOT a lock that the Habs will trade Pacioretty. They may keep him through the deadline.
Asking price for Pacioretty includes a young center they can build around as part of the package. Otherwise they are happy to keep him.

Habs need to make a decision on pending Plekanec.
While it seems likely they move him before deadline, there is a chance they re-sign him.
