I have nothing against slava , but in this case I think he's blinded by his feelings towards the accused, and seems to want to brush off the accusations.
transplant, you have very firm views on how the #metoo type stuff is playing out and that's cool. I have concerns with some of it too as it does seem to be too easy to ruin someone's career with lies.
but I think in this case there seems to be enough confirmation coming out that makes Hehr unsuitable to be a minster in government. he's not a criminal, but he should be held accountable for his actions and behavior.

Almost surely I am. I'm biased because I know the guy. There is no debating that this influences me, and honestly being completely objective is tough for me here. I think that's normal. But, I don't deny that if it's a friend of mine accused, my reaction is different than someone I don't know. So yeah, I'm guilty as charged there.
I think that the damage is done though. Regardless of whether he is suitable to be a minister or anything else, he won't get back into cabinet and won't be re-elected. I think that is a real shame, because agree or disagree with his politics, the guy is a well-meaning person.
