It's really how every GM should operate. It blows me away when you see some of those behind the scenes videos and some of these GM's just have no clue what's going on in the NHL trade market until they need to make a trade.

Yeah I think GMBT has pretty good feeling for the league and good relationships. I remember reading something after the Dougie trade of a couple anonymous GMs saying they didnt even know Dougie was available
