Just because a guy is not hyper emotional, breaking sticks or swearing or crying after a loss, does not mean that player accepts or is okay with losing. The players are expected to keep their emotions in check and stay focused on their assignments. Guys that get too emotional are easy to get off their game. I appreciate Monahan’s ability to keep his emotions in check, that is extremely important in tense moments and big games.
