Bennett isn't really like any of them. He doesn't have the high end offense like Mackinnon, isn't as consistent and well rounded as Schenn, and doesn't have the elite defensive prowess of Couturier.
If he does indeed "breakout" at some point, it will not be with the Flames. It'll be extremely hard for him to take that step in Calgary while being on the 3rd line.
Edit. It would of been nice to put Bennett in Frolik's spot while he was injured. See what he can do with some better players.
