Bennett is so far away from being a consistent scorer in this league and the flames frankly don’t have much time to wait for him to find his game, if he ever finds it all. They need to capitalize on Gio’s last years of his prime. Flames are in desperate need of another top 6 forward and have been for some time. Brodie and Bennett should be packaged in some sort of deal and maybe a prospect to land that player. Both have low hockey IQ’s and have stalled or regressed in their development as hockey players, get rid of them while they still have value.
