Bennett has absolutely struggled and the one thing he has proven is to be very streaky. Even in his 18 goal 36pt rookie year he would be hot and cold. Similar to this year where he lead the team in scoring in December and has been invisible since.
I have stated this before but I think Bennett and Brodie are assets that are too important to move until they fire the coach. Bennett had a very decent season under Hartley and Brodie had several. Neither are working under the style of play Gulutzan has the team playing.
Bennett has low value but I absolutely see that he has excellent potential.
Personally I think he thrives under a coach like Sutter
