I don't understand this logic at all. Anytime you give up points to a doormat of a team, it is literally the worst thing that can happen. These are supposed to gimmies for teams with post season aspirations. The Oilers (and Buffalo) are teams that most other playoff teams beat, with regularity, because they are so bad night in and night out. The Flames cannot seem to accomplish this feat twice in one week and this is somehow less meaningful than the LA loss?
Given the situation, last night was actually the most astounding loss I've seen in a while considering they've shown no response or will to change after four straight games that are basically carbon copies of each other - dismal PP, no emotion, taking the foot off of the gas.
