One thing that GG needs to look at is better balance in our top 9 once Frolik is back. 3rd line has dropped off again and it's hurting this team.

Gaudreau - Monahan - Ferland
Mangiapane - Backlund - Frolik
Tkachuk - Jankowski - Bennett

Tkachuk has had his time riding shotgun on Backlund's line and IMO he is a good enough player to drive offense on his own line, especially against favorable match ups.

I would love to see Mangiapane get a look there. He is pretty stout defensively, has high IQ, and is extremely talented. Time for him to get his mentorship on the Backlund line like Tkachuk and Bennett got in the past.

If not Mangiapane then maybe call up Klimchuk - who has been praised for his IQ and 200ft game throughout his development.
