- I have about 40 Gig worth of mp3s.
- They are all in mp3 format. Mostly at 192 Kbps. I don't want to have to convert the music in any other format.
- Some of the music was ripped from CDs and a lot were downloaded using file sharing programs.
- With about 40 Gigs of mp3s I want it to be easy to transfer my mp3s to the player.
I'm thinking the 60GB Ipod might be a good choice, but I'm unsure if it would compatible with all my mp3s.
Any advice?

Every MP3 player will play what you say you have, so that isn't a concern. Either figure out if there are any other features you would like to use to decide, or head to someplace like BestBuy and try out a few of them to see which you prefer.
