Unfortunately we've seen this same scenario before. Flames 7 game win streak will be undone this week if they fail to show up to the next two games. Frankly, if they play like they did vs the Jets and Sabres they will lose to the Kings and then give up their customary 5 goals or more to the Oilers. GG must know that he's yet to beat the Oilers and better have this group ready to go for that game. Hartley was an A hole and a very flawed coach but I never questioned whether he was gonna have the Flames ready for the big games. He was great at coaching the rivalry games vs the Oilers and Canucks, GG has been bent over by the Oilers more than any other Flames coach I can remember.
