Yours is a classic case of undervaluing the importance of keeping our stock of top tier prospects. Why trade them for a declining vet without a long term contract?
Sometimes prospects
are future superstars. It's easy to compile a long list of prospects who got traded for veterans and in quick hindsight was a bad deal.
