Lol, Rome is great. Been listening to him since he was on 66 CFR at 9 or after Flames games. Somewhat of a pioneer and there was a time he probably had the most entertaining radio program in North America, or at least right up there. If you have a pretty wide foundation for North American sports knowledge and don't take yourself too seriously, there's a good chance you'd end up liking him after a few listens. If that's not the case, maybe they could bring sports talk with jock back for those 2 hours? Maybe have another hour of Pinder yammerings followed up by another hour of Kelly Kirsch not knowing what is happening? I don't like that call... Not a very good call.

SportsTalk with Jock was cringeworthy. He tried extra hard to copy Rome with the exaggerated dramatic pauses, and then the repeating of his takes and explanations. It was terrible because it wasn’t funny at all. I recall a 5mimute rant about a golfer named Brian Gay joining the PGA tour. The rant was about his last name...coming from a guy named Jock, certainly ironic if youre going to be playing the juvenile card.
Rome was on 2hrs in those days because Cfr cut an hour out.
