Calgary a "bad" place to raise kids? You think it's better to raise them in NYC, Boston, DC, San Fran, Dallas, Chicago, LA, etc because big companies are attracted to those locations?
Calgary has tons of big city opportunity without the, lets call them "social" problems, those mega-American cities have.
I wish Southern Alberta had more lakes. Other than that inconvenience, this is an awesome place to live and raise a family IMO.
