One thing I would mention to all the people who choose not to have kids:
Do something with the extra time and money.
I have two really close friends who don't have kids. One of them is married and they travel a TON. He also has a side business in addition to his regular career and does some philanthropic work as well. He and his wife are always trying new things, going new places, having new experiences etc.
My other friend is common-law with his girlfriend though they've been together for like 10 years. They don't travel, don't really try new experiences, don't really push their careers like they could, do charity work etc. Their lives aren't that much different than people who have kids. From the outside looking in, it seems like they are just going through the motions until they die.
Both of these friends are stable financially so it's not like money is the issue.
If I were to be jealous of people with no kids, it would definitely my friend in the first scenario.
