If you watched the Vikings’ bonkers 29-24 win over the Saints on Sunday, you noticed that the officials had to clear the field as Minnesota celebrated and had to get some New Orleans players out of the locker room. It was all so Minnesota could “attempt” the extra point. For most people, this was a moot point. But for gamblers, this was huge. The Vikings were 5 1/2-point favorites, so if they had kicked the extra point, that would have made the final score 30-24.

The Vikings took a knee instead of attempting the extra point, and that drew a huge cheer ... in Las Vegas.
