So yeah, I have no problem blaming him for what he did to create his injuries...no problem what so ever. He was stupid to be admiring his ability by watching the puck instead of what he was skating into. There has to be some responsibility placed on players to protect themselves to at least some degree. He did none of that.
I hope he isn't hurt badly and certainly hope he doesn't miss time for the Canes, but if he does, it was entirely of his own doing.
