On Twitter, Kent Wilson speculated that a player being underused who seems to have a rift with his coach that could be a potential trade target was Rangers RW Pavel Buchnevik. Has 21 points on the year while only seeing 11-12 min a night and even being a healthy scratch. I think he’d be too expensive but he’d be an awesome get. Rangers fans seem to think the guy is the among the best players in the NHL based on what they think a trade should look like. Among the replies I saw seperate posters say that a trade would have to start with Monahan, or Gaudreau or Tkachuk+. Another trade proposal I saw was Buchnevik and Holden for Hamilton and a high pick. Suffice it to say, if Buchnevik were to get moved Rangers fans will be MIGHTILY disappointed in the return.
