Later in 2016, he was arrested and charged for assaulting three woman and a bouncer at another bar.
Nothing may have been proven in court, but he's pretty much the definition of "where there's smoke." And has long been reported to be a dick everywhere he goes.
And that's overlooking hockey issues, like his teammates throwing his jumpsuit into the shower, multiple healthy scratches and benches, posing with all his cash on twitter (whatever to the last one) and now another fight with another teammate.
Then again, he did knock out Cooke.

Exhibit A - Z on why he should never wear the Flames' jersey. Kind of embarrassing the price some people on CP wanted to pay to get him because ''he's a RW and scores goals and is physical''. As if those 15-18 minutes of attributes per game somehow nullifies the remaining 23h 45min the rest of the team has to spend with him.
"But all that matters is what he does on the ice!". Nope. It bloody matters when stuff like this is popping up all of the time and it likely effects players off the ice too, which in turn translates to what happens on the ice.
He can stay the hell away from the Flames.
On a side note, it's interesting to see just how far the Sabres have fallen in this rebuild. After the 2005 lockout, they were the model team to emulate. Back to back ECF appearances. A strong drafting team that built from within. They had youth and speed with the likes of Briere, Drury, Afinogenov, Miller, Roy, Connolly, Campbell, etc. All in their primes. And all big time contributors. Then they lost Briere and Drury for nothing. #1 D Campbell was traded away. Miller eventually got injured and was traded. Just horrible asset management from top to bottom. They went from being one of the model organizations in the 'new' NHL, to being a team that is stuck in an endless rebuild after losing out on McDavid.
Quite a sight to behold how team can come from such a high, then come crashing down with no end in sight.
