Exactly. This team don't have triggers that fires off one timers. Every time a cross ice pass is made, the receiving players ALWAYS flubs the puck on the ideal opportunity.
Of any forward on the roster, Ferland could be that player perhaps. He had his chances but his stick kept breaking for that period when he was there.
The formation is pointless since setting up the one-timers is the whole point. If the team is incapable of doing that, which has been the case since Versteeg has been injured, go with a formation that embraces the teams cycle element.
