I think this becomes relevant to this issue as if you train a generation of low achieving males and high achieving females I think you make gender issues worse.

I was being what I assumed was outrageously sarcastic. Kinda telling of our social climate today that it wasn't taken that way.
My expectations for my children are the same, of course. Where do you get the idea that expectations for boys are lower?
The education gap between girls and boys is complex. Some boys are doing fine. But boys tend to have poorer communication and listening skills from the youngest age, so boys who struggle really struggle. Our education system doesn't really doesn't know what to do with boys with ADHD and other behavioural disorders. So boys are drugged at a rate 4 times that of girls. It would be a scandal if the genders were reversed - whoops, that's something only a filthy MRA would say.
