Tucker Poolman could have been a UFA as he played 4 years in the NCAA.
and Schiefele signed for an 8 year deal rather than a 6 year deal.
Evander Kane signed his RFA contract for 6 years in Winnipeg, the same situation and term as Gaudreau.
Bogosian signed a 7 year deal as RFA after 5 years in the NHL
seems like that would compare well with players choosing to play in other cities.

My favourite thing over the last year has been suddenly realizing that Ricardodw is clearly a Jets fan while none of us noticed. All those years he trolled us and we thought he was a Flames fan.
Once you see it, you'll see it everywhere he posts. I actually feel stupid as almost all his comparisons over the years where he bashed Hamilton and other Flames were to the Jets and pointing out how they had done everything better in building their team.
I guess because he had us so confounded by his stats and indexes we missed the forest for the trees, lol.
