PP percentages can be misleading.
What I care about is: can they get that big goal when you really need it? If the Flames are down 1 in the 3rd, and get a PP, how many people here honestly believe they are going to get it done? They never do.
Compare that to Anaheim for instance. The PP percentage is probably just about the same, but give them a chance in the 3rd period of a close game, and you know they are going to step up.
Subjective? Yes.
But when was the last time they got that big PP goal they needed?
Personally, I can't remember the last potential example.
