The Wild is so stupid. I'm just generally uninspired by this team at this point. Stalled out as first round speed bumps for legitimate contenders, and now they're playing like they're bored, too, certainly on the road. I guess it's good (for the Wild) this game is in St. Paul, but what I would like to see is evidence that they learned from the butt-kicking the Avs laid on them on Saturday. Because this much I know: if the Flames win, Wild players will say some variant of the cliches hockey players use to describe inconsistent efforts ("have to be ready to play", "need to play a full 60", etc). It's just trite and off-putting at this point, with this team.
