This is a big development arc for Tilley.

The doctors dead, and he fell flat as a character. He just wasn't that interesting.

I knew he was going to die when they had the kissing scene. "Yup" I said "They're trying to build an oh my god that's awful moment" but really to me he was meh and the breaking of his neck was pretty final.

I'm still convinced that our Lorca is the mirror universe Lorca who vanished, and he's going to make a power play to kill the Emperor using the Discovery and her crew, then he'll send them home. I keep going back to the fact that Lorca activated his own program to get them there.

I feel bad for Emily Coutts, she's had nothing to do at all, they haven't even had a moment between her and Michael where maybe Michael says "Yeah . . . um . . . sorry about the whole face thing . . .my bad"

I'm convinced that the eventual destination of this show is with Burnham, as the captain of the discovery.

I hope they have a mess hall moment in the mirror universe where Burnham sits down to eat and they roll out the mirror Saru on a platter with an apple in his mouth.
